Job summary

McElhanney Ltd. in Kelowna, BC, is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to lead a portfolio of municipal infrastructure and land development projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
  • 15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proven success managing complex municipal infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships, win work, and lead proposals and pursuits.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including supervising, mentoring, and developing engineering staff.
  • Sound project and financial management experience, including scope, risk, contract, and budget management.
  • Strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure design, procurement, and construction; MMCD and CCA experience is an asset.

  • Contribute to the growth of the Kelowna practice through leadership, industry participation, and technical excellence.

McElhanney has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Project Manager to strengthen and expand our Civil Engineering practice in Kelowna, BC. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of municipal infrastructure and land development projects while providing direct supervision, mentorship, and development of engineering staff. You will lead complex projects from planning and design through construction, cultivate strategic client relationships, and play a key role in business development and practice growth.

What Can We Offer You?

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $155,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
