Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Ontario is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development to lead complex projects from concept to construction.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical excellence, and strengthen client relationships to deliver sustainable, community-focused infrastructure. This role offers mentorship of junior engineers, a focus on safety and quality, and participation in proposals and business development to grow WSP's footprint in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
• Extensive land development and municipal infrastructure experience from planning to construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of complex land development projects.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through execution, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Develop innovations in servicing, grading, stormwater management, and transportation.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, promoting safety, sustainability.
• Contribute to proposals, project strategies and business development initiatives.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800

MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
