A leading engineering consultancy in Toronto is seeking an experienced civil engineer for a hybrid role that requires in-office work 3 days per week. Responsibilities include performing civil engineering reviews, preparing specifications, and advising power project developers. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and significant experience in design techniques related to power projects. A competitive compensation range of $130,492 to $170,491 is offered alongside award-winning benefits.
This position is based on a hybrid work schedule and will require in-office work 3 days per week, giving you the flexibility to work remotely for two days.
Sargent & Lundy Consulting (SLC) works on behalf of clients to support utility‑scale thermal, solar, wind, battery energy storage, and other power generating and infrastructure projects. We evaluate and optimize technical, commercial, environmental, and financial aspects of the projects for a variety of clients.
This position will require you to perform civil engineering reviews and analyses to understand power projects and distill technical expertise into actionable information that project stakeholders rely on to prudently develop, design, construct, operate, and finance those projects. Working in multi‑disciplinary project teams, you will perform tasks such as the following:
