Job summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled Drafter in Canada to create precise 2D and 3D drawings and models using AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Spoolfab/Acron. You will collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet specifications and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes production of accurate documentation, ongoing design refinement, and adherence to industry standards across oil & gas projects, with opportunities for growth within a safety-conscious organization.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of drafting/design experience in a similar role; oil & gas experience is a strong asset.
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Spoolfab/Acron.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software based on engineering specifications.
• Review, update, and revise drawings in response to stakeholder feedback, design changes, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with applicable industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, contractors, and vendors to support project execution, including layouts and construction plans.
• Maintain organized drawing and document control systems; stay current on drafting best practices and industry trends.
