Job summary

Reddit is seeking a Senior Business Risk & AI Automation leader to build an AI-first internal audit and risk function. The role focuses on transforming SOX testing through agentic AI and scaling an AI assurance program across financial and platform risks.

You will architect AI-driven testing, assess core risks, and partner with Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to strengthen controls and drive automation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, internal audit, and/or compliance.
• Experience with SOX and controls testing preferred.
• Experience supporting internal controls and SOX testing in tech companies is preferred.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and prompting.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain AI-driven SOX testing to improve accuracy and real-time insights.

Senior, Business Risk & AI Automation responsible for building and scaling an AI-first internal audit and risk function at Reddit, with an initial focus on leveraging agentic AI to transform SOX testing and broader responsibilities across financial and platform risk areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain AI-driven SOX testing to improve accuracy, provide real-time insights, and reduce manual effort.
• Test core business process controls (financial reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, equity compensation, etc.) using agentic AI systems to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance & Accounting, Sales, People & Culture, Legal, and other stakeholders to strengthen controls and drive process improvements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and champion for AI and automation in risk management.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation within the Risk Advisory and Assurance team.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, internal audit, and/or compliance function (experience with SOX and controls testing preferred).
• Experience supporting internal controls and SOX testing in technology or platform companies is preferred.
• Ability to assess complex processes, identify risks, and find automation opportunities.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and prompting (examples called out: Google AI suite, ChatGPT, specialized AI audit tools).
• Professional certifications preferred: CPA, CIA, CISA, and/or CISSP.
• Strong critical thinking, comfort with ambiguity, proactive problem-solving, and collaborative mindset.
