CNET Group in Burnaby seeks a Senior BI Analyst to modernize data extraction, automation, and presentation. You will join a hands-on team using SQL, Looker/LookML, and leading AI APIs to deliver a single version of truth for leadership. Expect cross-functional collaboration, storytelling, and scalable dashboards across commerce metrics.
You will build Looker dashboards, automate routine analyses, and mentor the analytics team while aligning with Editorial, Sales, and Finance stakeholders.
We are looking for a highly skilled and intellectually curious Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to completely modernize how we extract, automate, and present data. This role sits at the exact intersection of AI automation and data storytelling. We need a hands-on builder with 3 to 5 years of experience who can translate complex data models into trusted, easily digestible insights.

We need an analyst who is a wizard with SQL and BI tools, knows how to connect AI APIs (like Claude or Gemini) to automate routine analysis, and can package those insights into clear, business-ready slides.
You will act as your own stakeholder. We expect you to bring a proactive, consulting mindset -Levraging existing data infrastructure, using cutting-edge generative AI technologies to automate manual reporting, and stepping up to confidently deliver a \"single version of truth\" to leadership without waiting for a script.
