The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, Platforms to lead Stay22’s expansion into partnerships with major platforms outside of the open web. This senior-level individual contributor will be responsible for building, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships with:

  • Social platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Large consumer apps (media, travel, lifestyle, fintech, etc.)
  • LLMs and AI platforms (embedding Stay22’s solutions into next-gen experiences)

This is a highly strategic role where you’ll act as the bridge between Stay22’s monetization solutions and the needs of global platforms. You will develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across business, product, legal, and engineering teams to unlock new revenue streams for both sides.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and drive partnerships with global platforms to embed Stay22’s solutions in ways that help them and their creators monetize more effectively.
  • Deeply understand platform needs and translate them into clear opportunities for Stay22, collaborating with product and technical teams to adapt solutions where needed.
  • Lead complex enterprise-level negotiations, including multi-threading across functions (legal, infosec, product, marketing).
  • Design and execute mutual action plans to ensure alignment on goals, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Manage long sales cycles with discipline, from qualification to contract execution.
  • Represent Stay22 externally at industry events and in high-stakes conversations with global decision-makers.
What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales, ideally with direct exposure to large platforms, social media companies, or consumer apps.
  • Strong knowledge of affiliate/partner monetization models and the platform/creator economy.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, enterprise-level deals with long sales cycles.
  • Excellent multi-threading skills: ability to navigate and align multiple stakeholders across business, tech, and legal functions.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen: ability to qualify opportunities quickly and build scalable playbooks.
  • Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; ability to influence at the C-level.
