Qualifications

Location Address: Toronto - Hybrid model (1-2 days a week in office)

Contract Duration: 3 months (Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE – Depending on business needs)

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (Possible overtime)

Story Behind the Need

Business group: Operational Risk Program

  • Operational resilience is an area of increasing focus for global regulators and expectations are evolving. Bank is enhancing its operational resilience capabilities within the Enterprise
  • Operational Risk function and is looking to add a Business Analyst to support the deployment and rollout of the Salesforce-based technology solution, Fusion Risk Management.
  • Project: To support the deployment and roll-out of the Salesforce-based technology solution, Fusion Risk Management. 6 months’ timeline.
Typical Day in Role:
  • Gathering business requirements and transforming them into technical requirements.
  • Facilitating meetings between internal stakeholders and the vendor to complete requirements gathering.
  • Providing support in testing and validation to ensure that system’s configurations meet the business requirements.
  • Developing Business Requirements Documents and other requirements related documentation as applicable.
  • Providing oversight on the project from the technology perspective.
  • Contribute towards the strategy for developing and implementing the operational resilience program at the bank.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and needs related to Salesforce solution implementation and enhancements and ensure that the delivered solutions meet the original business requirements.
  • Work closely with the technology team to ensure successful implementation of the Salesforce solution.
  • Lead the development and delivery of strategic and operational solutions to fulfill business requirements, objectives, and needs.
  • Coordinate cross functional stakeholder meetings and working groups as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as functional requirements, process flows, and guides, as applicable.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct testing to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
  • Provide reporting on the milestones progress and identify areas at risk.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
  • 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role in Salesforce solution implementation projects.
  • 5+ years of In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
  • Experience with Fusion Risk Management is an asset.
  • Familiarity or experience with regulatory requirements related to Operational Resilience (e.g., OSFI E-21) is considered a strong asset.
  • 5+ Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools is preferred.
Education & Certificates:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder is a plus.
Best VS. Average Candidate:
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Salesforce systems and experience in analyzing business processes, requirements gathering, and implementing solutions.
  • The best candidate will translate technical requirements to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
