Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Innovation Team in the Strategic Operations & Innovation division. You will shape how social services evolve by connecting policy, operations, and technology to improve client journeys and service delivery.

This role requires crafting evidence-based recommendations, leading discovery with partners, and mentoring junior staff as you translate strategic priorities into practical improvements that benefit Nova Scotians.

Qualifications

University degree plus six years of related experience or equivalent mix of education and work.
Experience leading service redesign, policy development, and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead complex analysis and discovery with internal and external partners.
Define practical improvements across programs, operations, policy, and technology.
Develop evidence-based recommendations and business cases for decisions.
Mentor junior analysts and build analytical delivery capacity.
Turn strategic priorities into implementable plans and changes.
