Job summary
A healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support its Digital Health and Data Strategy. The role requires strong expertise in Digital Health Standards and a minimum of 7 years in business process analysis. Responsibilities include leading process evaluations, stakeholder engagement, and documentation development. Suitable candidates will have excellent analytical and communication skills. This position is hybrid, requiring onsite work in Ontario up to 3 days a week.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business process analysis, solution adoption and change management.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, business intelligence and process mapping.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards and terminologies (HL7 FHIR, SNOMED-CT, LOINC).
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking and partner engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead business process analysis to evaluate and optimize workflows supporting strategic and operational objectives.
- Conduct partner and stakeholder engagement to gather requirements, promote interoperability and support solution adoption.
- Develop and maintain documentation artifacts such as charters, workflows, process maps, use cases and training materials.
- Facilitate and support committees and working groups by coordinating meetings, agendas and decision tracking.
- Prepare reports, presentations and briefing materials to support planning, governance and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align standards initiatives with Ontario Health’s broader portfolio goals.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to data quality governance and accessibility across standards initiatives.
