Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of supported applications, their interfaces, data flows (API contracts, batch processes, transformations), and their technical environments to support loyalty solutions
  • Partner with technical and business teams to design solutions that align with strategic goals, reduce technical debt, and enhance production readiness, with a focus on loyalty partnership onboarding and integrations
  • Provide hands‑on support during all phases of delivery, including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation activities
  • Manage and refine the team’s backlog, including creating and prioritizing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and estimating effort in collaboration with the Product Owner and stakeholders
  • Help define functional and non‑functional requirements by collaborating with various stakeholders and ensure alignment with business needs
  • Act as a liaison between Product Owners and development teams, facilitating seamless communication and maintaining focus on user value and team dependencies
  • Oversee testing efforts, review test cases, drive regression testing processes, and ensure proof of testing before deployments
  • Coordinate production deployments, manage Request for Change (RFC) submissions, and provide second‑level incident support during business hours
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, provide rapid recovery guidance during major incidents, and drive the implementation of permanent root‑cause fixes
  • Use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Lucidcharts to provide documentation, support backlog management, and enhance collaboration
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, or related roles
  • Retail domain experience is required, with expertise in loyalty partnership onboarding and API integrations, including analyzing and interpreting API data (requests/responses and batch processing) to ensure seamless partner integration
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SAFe methodology, and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency in creating diagrams such as context diagrams, business process flows, and system documentation
  • Experience with business analysis practices, including data analysis and requirements gathering
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage ambiguity, resolve blockers, and simplify complex technical scenarios into actionable solutions
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver high‑quality results under tight deadlines
  • Experience using collaboration and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Lucidcharts, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in analyzing data using SQL and troubleshooting production‑related issues
  • Comfort with JSON data and tools like Postman for API validation
Nice to have
  • Experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Familiarity with microservices architectures, event streaming, and event‑driven design
  • Knowledge of Data Lakes or Big Data Analytics tools
  • Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Power Platform tools like Power BI or Power Apps
