Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a Senior Building Science Project Engineer / Project Manager to lead complex building envelope restoration, rehabilitation, and new construction projects in Toronto. You will oversee investigations, design, and construction completion while mentoring junior engineers and developing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• P.Eng. designation.
• 8–15 years of Building Science / Building Envelope consulting experience.
• Experience with investigations, remediation design, restoration, and construction review.
• Strong communication, leadership and business development skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead building envelope projects from investigation through design and construction completion.
• Conduct condition assessments and forensic investigations of building envelope systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to water infiltration, air leakage, condensation, thermal bridging, and deterioration.
• Develop rehabilitation and restoration strategies for existing buildings.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, design documents, and client recommendations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and mock-ups.
• Provide construction review and contract administration services.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead building envelope projects from investigation through design and construction completion.
• Conduct condition assessments and forensic investigations of building envelope systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to water infiltration, air leakage, condensation, thermal bridging, and material deterioration.
• Develop rehabilitation and restoration strategies for existing buildings.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, design documents, and client recommendations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
• Minimum 8-15 years of Building Science / Building Envelope consulting engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with building envelope investigations, remediation design, restoration, and construction review.
• Proven project management and client management experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and business development skills.
• Passion for coaching and mentoring building science teams
