A global specialty pharmaceutical company is seeking a Senior Brand Manager in Mississauga. The role involves developing and executing brand plans for the rare disease franchise, leading promotional strategies, and collaborating extensively with various teams. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, particularly in rare diseases, and a strong grasp of Canadian advertising laws. This is a full-time position offering an engaging work environment.
Kyowa Kirin is a fast-growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that applies state-of-the-art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines in four disease areas: bone and mineral; intractable hematologic; hematology oncology; and rare disease. A Japan-based company our goal is to translate science into smiles by delivering therapies where no adequate treatments currently exist working from drug discovery to product development and North America we are headquartered in Princeton NJ with offices in California, North Carolina and Mississauga, Ontario.
The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing successful launch and post-launch brand plans and programs for the rare disease franchise within Kyowa Kirin Canada.
Education: Bachelors Degree is required. MBA is a plus.
5-7 years of pharmaceutical marketing. Experience in Rare Disease preferred. Budget and vendor management. Acts as a team player. Expert understanding of Canadian pharmaceutical advertising laws the PAAB and ASC Codes, the IMC Code of Conduct and related regulatory requirements. Outstanding leadership team management and presentation skills. Launch experience a plus. Sales and market research experience a plus.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Ability to lead without authority. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A strong work ethic is required. Detail-oriented and excellent follow-through. Has the ability to flex and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic fast-paced high-growth environment. Has a passion for personal learning and development to grow with the company. Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.
Normal office environment with prolonged sitting and extensive computer work.
Requires up to 20% domestic and international travel.
