Our client is in search of a Senior Batch Job & Workload Automation Developer. The Senior Batch Job & Workload Automation Developer will work with the Information Technology Engineering team to automate processes using an enterprise batch scheduling tool, such as Redwood Cronacle. This role consists of using different application integration technologies, tools, and frameworks to develop high‑quality software scripts. The scripts will be used within an enterprise workload automation job scheduler. Scripts will also be required to automate interaction with internal REST APIs, WebServices, and components such as SFTP Servers, and Oracle Database stored procedures and functions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new application code and documentation from software specifications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand solution requirements.
  • Design and configure Job Scheduling Workflows to enable orchestration of batch processes.
  • Maintain existing application software specifications and technical documentation.
  • Follow quality assurance standards during design, development, and implementation phases.
  • Perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution, as well as requirements compliance.
  • Support systems in test and production environments and assist with problem resolution / debugging.
  • Support and maintain existing applications and develop enhancements to existing software.
