Job summary

StackAdapt is hiring an Engineer to drive the development of its advertising platform. You will work with GoLang, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and data stores to build scalable backend systems and deliver impactful product experiences.

You will join a remote-first team in North America, partnering with product and design to ship high-quality features while practicing rigorous tests and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building highly scalable backend systems.
• Experience with GoLang, AWS, Kubernetes and Kafka is essential.
• Ad tech experience is a plus.
• Strong testing (unit and end-to-end) and large data handling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical projects that provide value to customers.
• Mentor teammates and uphold software development best practices.
• Architect scalable web APIs, libraries, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with product and design to ship end-to-end product experiences.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose concrete fixes.
