Job summary

Our Ottawa-based client seeks a Senior Azure Integration Developer to drive enterprise application integration initiatives. You will apply hands-on Azure development, cloud architecture, and secure, scalable integration design across complex environments.

You will design, build, and optimize integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Data Factory, and REST APIs; implement ETL/ELT processes; and automate deployments with IaC (Bicep).

Qualifications

• Senior-level Azure development and integration experience.
• Hands-on with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Data Factory, DevOps/CI-CD.
• Experience designing Azure networking solutions (VNets, Private Endpoints, hub-spoke).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Bicep preferred).
• Strong security, monitoring, and scalability practices.

Responsibilities

The ideal consultant will bring strong hands-on Azure development experience, cloud architecture knowledge, and the ability to design secure, scalable integration solutions across complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement application integrations using Azure services
• Build solutions leveraging Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Data Factory
• Develop APIs and workflows enabling communication between internal and external systems
• Implement ETL/ELT processes and cloud-based data movement solutions
• Develop automation and integration solutions using Python
• Design secure Azure architectures including VNets, private endpoints, hub-spoke models, private DNS, and hybrid connectivity
• Implement logging, monitoring, security, and performance best practices
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Bicep
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing Azure integration solutions
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, data engineers, and technical teams
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations on Azure best practices
