Job summary

Forvis Mazars in Canada seeks a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements, mentor teams, and contribute to client solutions across Quebec and national engagements. You will supervise field staff, coordinate with managers and partners, and deliver high‑quality assurance services while growing your expertise in ASPE and CAS.

This role offers growth, collaboration, and opportunities to work on diverse clients with national exposure across Canada.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • CPA designation completed or in progress (registered with Ordre des CPA du Québec).
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Solid knowledge of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
  • Experience preparing Canadian tax returns for individuals and corporations.
  • Experience with Caseware, CaseView and Taxprep is an asset.

  • Collaborate closely with junior and senior auditors, as well as managers and partners, to ensure high‑quality engagements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare Canadian tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities, demonstrating solid tax knowledge.
  • Contribute to special mandates by delivering innovative, tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth through constructive feedback and hands‑on coaching.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • CPA designation completed or in progress (registered with the Ordre des CPA du Québec).
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
  • Solid experience preparing Canadian tax returns for both individuals and corporations.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS).
  • Experience with Caseware, CaseView, and Taxprep (an asset).

(In compliance with the Charter of the French Language)
