Job Summary

Responsible for assisting the store manager in the management functions of a retail store. This is a working supervisory position where directing the work, delegating assignments, and physically performing any necessary tasks will all occur routinely. These functions include:

  • Processing, merchandising and selling of goods received;
  • Hiring, training and supervision of employees;
  • Maintaining good customer relations;
  • Timely and accurate completion and submission of paperwork.
Job Requirements

High school diploma / GED or equivalent related experience. Requires two years of experience in a retail setting involving customer contact, merchandising and cash register transaction experience. Direct supervisory experience, such as hiring, training, employee performance evaluations, and employee conduct / performance problem resolution is required. Subject to alcohol and drug testing. Subject to criminal history background checks.
