Senior / Assistant Manager, SingHealth Experimental Medicine Centre

SingHealth Experimental Medicine Centre (SEMC) operates several core facilities for translational research in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre and manages a national facility. As a member of SEMC’s Admin Operations team, you will play a direct role in providing professional administrative and operational support to investigators conducting their research in the Centre.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of research protocols, project budgeting, and service agreements, and provide project coordination support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to carry out procurement activities (including import-export), review and implement policies and procedure documents, process monthly project billings, and manage relevant inventory and records for regular reporting.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline, preferably with 4 years of experience in biomedical research
  • Knowledge of basic research skills, biosafety practices, and familiarity with laboratory design and requirements would be advantageous
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
  • Self-motivated and resourceful individual with the ability to manage assignments independently
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and engage at all levels
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
