Job summary

MaintainX, a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial teams, seeks a senior ML engineer in Canada. You will design and deploy fault-detection models using vibration and time-series data, collaborating with product managers and domain experts to validate results and drive real-world impact.

You will deliver production-ready code, explore varied algorithms, and help shape the platform with rigorous experimentation and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on condition monitoring or ML.
• 5+ years of proven programming experience with ML tools like Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Strong foundations in ML, data science, and statistics; time-series modeling familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize ML models for fault detection and classification end-to-end.
• Perform EDA on vibration, OT and time-series data to uncover patterns and insights.
• Evaluate algorithms in time-series modeling and signal processing to improve performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to validate findings and roadmap impact.
• Deliver production-grade code, with strong testing and maintainability practices.
