Position Status: Permanent Full-Time

Available: Immediately

Description of the Position:

As a Senior Application Specialist for CRM and Marketing, you will bring technical expertise and leadership to drive development, implementation, and support of the Foundation’s enterprise and web applications.

You will lead projects across the full software development lifecycle, deliver technical and end-user support, and ensure seamless data integration.

This role demands a high level of technical proficiency, strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering solutions that make a difference.

Communication and Collaboration:

Business Requirements and Development:

  • Leads, analyzes, consults, and negotiates with stakeholders on their business needs and technical requests for fundraising and marketing platforms.
  • Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.
  • Designs and implements marketing automation workflows and journeys.
  • Participates in the development, implementation, configuration, testing, end-user training, and ongoing support for applications.
  • Provides troubleshooting and problem-solving support for applications and data-related issues.
  • Manages and executes ongoing patch testing for CRM and Marketing Technology applications.

Project Management:

  • Responsible for day-to-day project management of scope, schedule, cost, and status updates.
  • Manages multiple streams of work simultaneously, effectively tracking and prioritizing tasks and timelines.
  • Demonstrates a high level of responsiveness and accountability for tasks and information management.
  • Responsible for mitigating risks through early identification of potential issues impacting cost, scope, schedule, and quality.

Training and Documentation:

  • Supports business users in User Acceptance Testing.
  • Creates and maintains documentation for processes and journeys built in the marketing platform.
  • Delivers end-user training for new hires and during new application rollouts.

Data Management:

  • Ensures the integrity and accuracy of customer data within CRM and Marketing Technology platforms.
  • Collaborates with data teams to integrate and synchronize data across systems.
  • Conducts regular audits to maintain data quality and compliance with data privacy regulations.

Compliance and Security:

  • Understands data protection regulations (e.g., CASL, CAN-SPAM) and has experience implementing compliance measures.
  • Knowledge of security best practices within CRM and Marketing Technology platforms.

Continuous Learning:

  • Demonstrates a strong interest in developing new technical skills and maintaining a growth mindset.
  • Proactively stays current with the latest platform features and best practices.

Qualifications:

While no candidate will possess all qualifications, the ideal candidate will have:

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related discipline, with relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years supporting Enterprise Customer/Donor Management & Marketing Technology Applications (e.g., Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Funraisin).
  • 5+ years experience with online fundraising platforms.
  • 5+ years experience with the software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, analysis, testing, training, deployment, patch testing, and support.

Total Compensation:

Salary Range: $81,251 – $101,566, with potential to reach $116,803, based on experience and qualifications.
