Job summary

ELITS Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Angular Frontend Developer for a consulting assignment based in Ottawa or Montreal. You will build and maintain modern frontend applications with a focus on Angular, reusable UI components, and high-quality delivery.

The role requires 5+ years of frontend experience, strong Angular/TypeScript skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. AI-assisted development is part of daily work, and the environment emphasizes modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of professional frontend experience.
• Strong Angular and TypeScript skills in modern frontend environments.
• Solid JavaScript/HTML/CSS with responsive UI capabilities.
• Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI, and modern frontend practices.
• Familiarity with automated testing (Playwright), Git, npm, and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with AI coding agents and related tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features using Angular with reusable UI components.
• Build applications with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate frontend apps with REST/OpenAPI based services.
• Contribute to automated testing and ensure CI/CD pipelines pass.
• Manage npm dependencies and updates, maintaining security posture.
• Collaborate with UX, backend, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Support AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
