Job summary

Flexstaf IT in Montreal, QC, is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance web applications. The role demands expertise in Angular (v12+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RxJS, with strong API integration and state management experience.

You will work in a hybrid environment (3 days in the office) within an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and deployment automation. Prior banking/enterprise familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Angular development experience.
• Strong expertise in: Angular (v12+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, RxJS.
• Experience with Angular Material and responsive UI development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
• Experience with State Management frameworks such as NgRx/Redux.
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks including Jasmine, Karma, Jest.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular (v12+).
• Build reusable UI components and ensure optimal application performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver requirements.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and microservices with front-end applications.
• Develop responsive, cross-browser compatible, and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production issue resolution.
• Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and releases.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes and application monitoring.
