What you'll do:
  • Own the design and maintenance of ELT pipelines—including API integrations, Power Query transformations, and automation workflows.
  • Build and scale data models that support transportation network optimization, volume forecasting, and asset utilization.
  • Develop and maintain BI dashboards (Power BI) to support tracking of KPIs such as lane performance, asset turnover rates, and cost trends.
  • Automate reporting and data validation processes to enable self-serve analytics and reduce manual workloads.
  • Manage and monitor scheduled data refreshes to ensure accuracy and reliability of dashboards and reports.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support contract negotiations, network planning, and seasonal contingency strategies
What you bring:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence roles—preferably within logistics or transportation domains.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience designing ELT pipelines and working with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, VBA) and data platforms like Teradata or SAS.
  • Familiarity with supply chain data structures and key performance metrics is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and operational stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business questions into actionable data solutions.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with SAS, Teradata, relational databases, and enterprise systems commonly used in logistics (e.g., SAP, TMS, JDA).
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Power Apps, and RPA technologies (e.g., UiPath, Appian).
  • A background in project-based analytics delivery or experience within the transportation industry is a strong asset
