Senior Analyst, Revenue Growth Management

Reports To :

Manager, Revenue Growth Management & Sales Initiatives

POSITION SUMMARY

In this role you will operate as a true strategic consultant and trusted advisor. You will conduct deep data analysis leveraging multiple sources of data, distill actionable insights, and work with cross-functional partners to craft solutions to meet the strategic revenue growth goals of multiple J.M. Smucker Co. categories. You will translate data into insights, identify topline / bottom line opportunities through key RGM levers (including but not limited to : Strategic Pricing, PPA (Price Pack Architecture), Mix Management, Trade Optimization etc.), drive accountability from teams other than your own and drive business results.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY
  • Act as a strategic consultant to Category Strategy, Sales and Marketing teams on key RGM initiatives such as pricing strategy, price pack architecture, cross channel price value alignment, and omnichannel growth
  • Develop and refine RGM approaches using syndicated data (e.g. Nielsen, IRI), customer level POS data, financial systems, RGM tools
  • Support the creation of multi-year brand plans focused on both top-line and bottom-line profit growth through strategic levers
  • Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of pricing and promotional strategies on volume, revenue , and profitability
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that improve promotional effectiveness and drive commercial decision-making.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Strategy teams to align on Revenue Growth Management initiatives and support key business decisions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer-specific promotional behaviors and tactics to better tailor channel and customer-level strategies.
  • Provide ad-hoc business modeling and support for strategic planning, short-term financial targets, and corporate objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree, diploma or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the CPG industry or a related field, with a strong track record in Revenue Growth Management or adjacent areas such as Finance, Insights & Analytics, Price Pack Architecture, Category Leadership, Brand Management, or Customer Commercialization
  • Deep understanding of key Revenue Growth Management levers, including pricing strategy, pack architecture, mix management, trade terms, and promotion optimization
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable business recommendations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to cross-functional stakeholders with varying levels of analytical expertise
  • Solution-oriented mindset with excellent project management and organizational capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to conduct detailed analysis and develop executive-ready presentations
  • Experience with syndicated POS data platforms (e.g., Nielsen, Retail Link, Dunnhumby) is an asset
  • Familiarity with RGM-specific tools and platforms (e.g., NIQ Revenue Optimizer) is a plus
  • Highly self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Strategy functions
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development in analytics, strategy, and commercial execution
