The Co‑op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Senior Engineer / Analyst Refinery Performance on a permanent basis to work at our CRC office in Regina SK.

Are you ready to lead impactful engineering work in a dynamic refinery environment? As a Senior Engineer / Analyst Refinery Performance you’ll play a pivotal role in driving data‑informed decisions that directly influence refinery strategy, leadership priorities and long‑term performance outcomes. This is your opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders, bring clarity to complex data and help align our teams around meaningful measurable results.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and enhance operational performance frameworks that integrate business planning, budgeting and KPI reporting enabling CRC to measure performance, identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement analytical tools and reporting templates to support data‑driven decision‑making, including monthly performance reports, executive summaries and variance analyses with recommended actions.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with CRC departments, FCL, Home Office, Organizational Performance and other groups to align corporate performance management systems and ensure consistent messaging of key metrics.
  • Lead Solomon benchmarking data efforts ensuring accurate data submission, forecasting key metrics and conducting in‑depth analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities and limitations.
  • Support strategic operational planning by translating performance insights into actionable initiatives and developing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of improvement efforts.
  • Create and present performance findings and insights to diverse stakeholder groups, including the Refinery Leadership Team, translating complex data into clear actionable recommendations that inform strategic decisions.

The Team: You will work closely with the Refinery Performance Improvement Manager, Superintendent Refinery Performance, the Refinery Leadership Team and various other stakeholders to support mid‑to‑long‑term planning and decision‑making related to operational performance management for CRC.

Who you are:
  • Have 6 years of operation experience within a refinery or other heavy industrial setting, ideally with some experience in business planning and operational performance management systems.
  • Have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Are familiar with benchmarking tools, performance frameworks, KPIs, balanced scorecards and continuous improvement methodologies.
