BMO Financial Group in Canada is seeking an FRTB BAU analyst to perform operational in-depth analysis to support trading desk risk requirements. Hybrid work with in-office 3x per week.
The role covers data validation, issue tracking, governance, and collaboration with Market Risk and Enterprise teams, leveraging SQL, VBA and Excel.
Salary range CAD 56,000–103,500; salaried position with comprehensive benefits and potential incentives, reflecting location and experience.
Hybrid requirement: 3x per week in office (subject to change)
As a member of the FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) BAU team, the analyst is primarily responsible for performing operational in-depth analysis to support the FRTB trading desk quantitative risk requirements. Additionally, the analyst is expected to answer to the extended scope of projects, audit requirements, ad hoc requests and expansion of the team’s responsibilities and mandate in the risk infrastructure area.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
