Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Canada is seeking a Senior IT Analyst – SAP Basis to coordinate SAP Basis operations across our SAP landscape, with emphasis on SAP RISE Private Cloud. You will manage service requests, transports, monitoring, maintenance, and environment provisioning.

The role requires 5+ years in IT project management, hands‑on SAP Basis and SAP Security, and strong partnerships with business and tech teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
• 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP Basis and SAP Security.
• Experience working in an SAP S/4HANA RISE environment is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated experience building effective partnerships between business and technology teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with executives, managers, technical teams, business partners, and vendors.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Ability to demonstrate influential leadership in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.
• PMP or Agile certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SAP Basis operations across SAP landscape with focus on SAP RISE Private Cloud.
• Manage SAP service requests, transport management, system monitoring, planned maintenance, patching, environment provisioning, client copies, and system refreshes.
• Collaborate with SAP ECS, AMS partners, and internal teams.
• Contribute to SAP infrastructure governance, ensuring availability, performance, and long‑term sustainability with change management alignment.
• Support SAP RISE Private Cloud, SaaS cloud solutions (SAP BTP), and on‑prem environments.
• Coordinate SAP transports using ChaRM and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Coordinate batch jobs, SAP BTP accounts, and certificates.
• Coordinate technical operations with SAP ECS and manage service requests.

What you will put into action

As a Senior IT Analyst – SAP Basis, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting SAP Basis operations across our SAP landscape, with a primary focus on SAP RISE Private Cloud.

• You will manage and coordinate key technical activities, including SAP service requests, transport management, system monitoring, planned maintenance, patching, environment provisioning, client copies, and system refreshes.
• You will work closely with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (SAP ECS), our Application Management Services (AMS) partners, and internal teams.
• You will also contribute to SAP infrastructure governance, helping ensure system availability, performance, reliability, and long-term sustainability, while maintaining alignment with change management processes, including coordination with the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
• Your role will combine ongoing involvement in multiple SAP projects with operational support and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and support the SAP IT infrastructure, including SAP RISE Private Cloud environments, SaaS cloud solutions, such as SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), as well as existing on-premises SAP environments.
• Manage SAP transports using solutions such as SAP Change Request Management (ChaRM) and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Manage and coordinate batch jobs, SAP BTP accounts, and certificates.
• Coordinate technical operations with SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (SAP ECS).
• Manage and follow up on SAP service requests.
• Coordinate key technical activities across SAP environments.
• Ensure system performance, availability, reliability, and long-term sustainability across the SAP landscape.
• Partner with the user community to communicate objectives, priorities, and potential impacts of initiatives while acting as a change agent.
• Maintain regular interactions with project teams to communicate issues, raise risks, facilitate discussions, and maintain a shared vision of expected outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Analysts, Architects, ABAP Developers, and Project Managers.
• Contribute to the development of the technology roadmap for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in collaboration with various SAP teams.
• Provide high-level technical support for infrastructure issues impacting end users.
• Participate in managing relationships with vendors and external partners.
• Support and facilitate the preparation of regular project review and follow-up meetings.
