Job summary

Sienna Senior Living seeks a Senior Analyst, Investments to drive financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis for acquisitions and strategic initiatives.

You will translate insights into actionable recommendations, support due diligence and deal execution, and monitor post-acquisition performance for value enhancements.

Qualifications

  • CPA, CFA and/or MBA required.
  • 1–3+ years of relevant working experience (e.g., real estate, accounting firm, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, and/or corporate finance).
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or real estate preferred.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills with ability to develop comprehensive financial models and business cases.
  • Strong transaction advisory experience with due diligence, valuations and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial modeling for acquisition opportunities and strategic initiatives.
  • Synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations for the executive team.
  • Assist in due diligence and deal execution with third-party brokers/advisors.
  • Coordinate deal documentation and closings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with operational leaders to understand business drivers and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

The Senior Analyst, Investments will provide financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis to evaluate acquisition opportunities and strategic initiatives. The role will translate financial and operational insights into actionable recommendations, support due diligence and deal execution, and monitor post-acquisition performance to identify risks and value-enhancement opportunities.

How You’ll Succeed:
  • Completion of detailed financial modeling for acquisition opportunities and other strategic initiatives, including synthesizing insights into clear, actionable recommendations for the executive team.
  • Assisting in the preparation of summary documents needed for Investment Committee submission and approvals.
  • Assisting in the management of due diligence processes, including working with third-party brokers and advisors
  • Assist in deal documentation and transaction closings, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operational leaders across our business segments with the goal of understanding the underlying business model and drivers of performance.
  • Monitor performance of completed acquisitions, identifying variances to underwriting, key risks, and value enhancement opportunities.
  • Support other ad hoc financial analysis in relation to optimizing the performance of the same property portfolio
Who you are:
  • CPA, CFA and/or MBA
  • 1-3+ years of relevant working experience ((e.g., real estate, accounting firm, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, and/or corporate finance, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or real estate preferred
  • Excellent financial modeling skills with the ability to develop comprehensive financial models, forecast the impact of transactions on the Company, and develop business cases to support recommended actions
  • Solid transaction advisory experience with a good understanding of financial due diligence, valuations and financial modeling with the ability to quickly obtain an understanding of the seniors housing industry
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to operate independently and willingness to own and improve processes
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of working with individuals across various levels and backgrounds
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • AI-forward mindset, with a demonstrated interest in leveraging AI tools and technologies to drive process improvements, efficiency gains and better decision-making
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
What you need to know:
  • The salary range for this position is: $69,953.00-$87,441.50
  • This is an on-site position at our Shared Support office in Markham
