Who – The Company
Exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing international Vancouver based company and one of Vancouver’s finest! Our client is a people-centric organization and known for their collaborative team culture.
What – The Role
- An integral part of the strategy & insight team, the Senior Analyst, Global Market Development uses data & analytics to inform retail market planning & real estate expansion.
- They are a champion of data; leveraging broad technical skills in data science & analytics daily to answer real world questions that support lululemon’s growth.
- Their work is primarily project-based; with a focus on analysis and the building of models, tools & datasets that can be used to support decision making & inform lululemon’s strategy. Example projects include market sizing, analyzing customer behaviours & modelling cannibalization.
- They own their day to day, but work closely with the Sr. Manager, Global Market Development.

- Ability to break down a problem – using a hypothesis-driven approach to research & analytics.
- Communication – confidence to influence stakeholders, using an objective, data led approach.
- A self-learner – who can build experience & knowledge to further team objectives.
- Enthusiasm – essential to be positive, flexible & able to adapt to needs of the business.
Technical skills
- Data science (SQL / Python) – able to analyze & draw insights from large datasets (e.g., CRM). Demonstrates a strong understanding of methodologies, best practices & analytical techniques.
- Data modelling – experience creating complex models with real world constraints.
- Geospatial analysis – familiar with GIS software, geospatial concepts & data manipulation.
- Market research – able to research, identify relevant trends & insights & build custom datasets.
- Data visualization – experience building dashboards with PowerBI to democratize data & deliver insights to cross-functional partners.
- MS PowerPoint – can create slides to communicate complex topics with a range of audiences.
Qualifications & experience
- Undergraduate degree in quantitative field (inc. economics, business, data science or science)
- Further professional development is a strong benefit (e.g., Data Science certification, Master of Business analytics, MBA or GIS specialism)
- 3-6 years relevant work experience with track record of quantitative analytical work; experience in retail, real estate or market planning preferred.
How much
Competitive hourly wage in the range of $45-49/hr + 4% vacation pay, if you’re incorporated, please discuss with Swim.

Vancouver, hybrid working conditions, 4 days’ onsite.
