A prominent university in Halifax is seeking a Senior Analyst for Financial Modelling and Analytics. The role involves transforming financial data into actionable insights and collaborating with various teams on financial projects. Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree in finance or related fields and have experience in financial analysis and business intelligence. The position supports a hybrid work model, balancing in-person and remote work.
Dalhousie Financial Services strives to provide the highest quality financial services and information to ensure the effective stewardship of University assets to the benefit of students and scholarly activities. Financial Services is a core service unit of the University, providing services in areas of financial accounting, budgeting, procurement, payroll, cash management, and financial systems and policies. Reporting to the Senior Director, Budgets and Financial Analysis, the Senior Analyst, Financial Modelling and Analytics will transform financial data into actionable insights that support strategic planning, operational efficiency and fiscal accountability across the university.
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work from within Nova Scotia) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.
