Senior Analyst, Facility Operations
Role Mandate:

The Sr. Analyst, Facility Operations is responsible for the accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of maintenance activities, facility costs, and operational projects. This role provides direct execution support across budgeting, invoicing, building automation data analysis, and project tracking, ensuring reliable information is available for decision-making and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and analyze maintenance activities, spend, and vendor performance.
  • Identify cost drivers and provide regular variance reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy of maintenance data in systems and reports.
Budgeting, Invoicing & Proposals
  • Assist with budget preparation, updates, and forecasting.
  • Review and reconcile invoices for accuracy against contracts and work completed.
  • Support proposal development with cost analysis and documentation.
Building Automation & Systems Analysis
  • Pull, review, and analyze data from building automation systems (BAS) to support operational decision-making.
  • Triaging, troubleshooting, and actively managing BAS alarms to help prioritize corrective actions.
  • Identify anomalies, inefficiencies, and trends, ensuring issues are clearly documented and actioned.
  • Partner with technical teams to validate findings and follow up on required corrective work.
Project Tracking & Reporting
  • Maintain up-to-date project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Provide consistent reporting on progress, risks, and deliverables.
  • Ensure project records and dashboards are accurate and accessible.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3–5 years of experience in an analyst role supporting facilities, maintenance, operations, or finance.
  • Proficiency with budgeting, invoicing, and cost tracking.
  • Experience working with building automation systems (BAS) or energy data is an asset.
  • Advanced Excel skills; exposure to reporting tools (Power BI, or similar) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables with accuracy and consistency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Facilities Management) or equivalent work experience.
