EQ Bank | Canada's Challenger Bank is seeking a data‑driven risk analytics professional to enhance customer risk strategies. You will perform quantitative analysis across limit management, pricing, delinquency, and collections, using Python/SQL and lead test‑and‑learn initiatives.

This role supports the development, management, monitoring, and ongoing refinement of customer risk management processes and strategies across the PC Mastercard and PC Money products. The role is responsible for using quantitative analysis, financial assessment, and test-and-learn methodologies to support the optimization of strategies across limit management, APR pricing, delinquency management, collections, payment holds, and related credit risk decision areas.
Analyze, monitor, and contribute to assigned customer risk strategies across areas such as limit management, APR pricing, delinquency management, collections, payment holds, and other prioritized strategies.
Own assigned optimization opportunities and refine strategies through quantitative analysis, performance monitoring, and test-and-learn approaches to assess effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
Recommend credit risk strategy changes based on analytical findings, strong financial analysis, portfolio performance, and expected customer and business impacts.
Develop evidence-based recommendations and present findings to leadership to support policy and strategy decisions.
Own assigned analytical workstreams and support implementation activities by providing analysis, validation, documentation, and stakeholder updates to help ensure deployments meet quality expectations.
Develop strong working knowledge of credit systems, including TSYS and TRIAD, to support strategy design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Support continuous improvements to strengthen oversight and governance capabilities.
The incumbent will be working hybrid and in office time will be spent working from EQ Bank’s additional office space located at 2200-25 Ontario Street, Toronto, ON.
