A leading utility company is hiring a Senior Analyst for Corporate Accounting in Edmonton. The role involves ensuring financial integrity, preparing financial reports, and advising on financial matters. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, CPA designation, and at least 4 years of accounting experience. Knowledge of Oracle systems and advanced Excel skills are essential. This is a temporary full-time position with benefits and a competitive wage starting at $52.35 per hour.
We are hiring a Senior Analyst Corporate Accounting Temporary Full Time up to 18 months in Edmonton AB.
As a Senior Analyst Corporate Accounting you will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity for the reporting of EPCORs Corporate functions. This position is responsible for delivering accurate accounting services to Corporate shared service departments as well as other corporate transactions such as financing activities.
As a valuable member of the Corporate Accounting team you will have strong attention to detail foster strong cross‑functional relationships and ensure financial processes are in compliance with all policies, standards and controls.

Hours of work: 75 hours biweekly
Wage: Starting at $52.35 per hour (Final Wage and Step will be determined at the time of selection and based on a combination of factors as outlined in the Collective Agreement).

To meet the physical demands required of some positions candidates must be in good physical condition and willing to work in all weather conditions. Clearance on pre‑placement medical and drug and alcohol testing may be required.
To be considered for this position you must be at least 18 years of age, successfully attained a high school diploma (GED or equivalent level of secondary education) and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
If you are considered for the position clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal identity educational and / or credit) and professional reference checks is required. Some EPCOR positions require an enhanced level of background assessment which is dictated by law. These positions require advanced criminal record checks that must also be conducted from time to time after commencement of employment.
A technical / practical assessment may be administered during the selection process and this exercise will be used as a part of the selection criterion.
