S I Systems in Toronto is seeking a Senior AI Security Architect with 10+ years of experience to design and govern AI security architecture across AI, Generative AI, ML, LLMs, and RAG solutions within a financial services context.

You will partner with enterprise architecture, cloud, legal, compliance, and risk teams to embed security and responsible AI throughout the solution lifecycle, defining principles, standards, and reference architectures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise AI security strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Define security architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures for AI and intelligent automation solutions.
• Establish secure design patterns for AI applications, model lifecycle management, data pipelines, APIs, and AI infrastructure.
• Review AI initiatives and solution designs for security, privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and assess AI-specific security risks including prompt injection, model poisoning, adversarial attacks, and unauthorized model access.

Join a global enterprise security organization focused on enabling the secure adoption of AI technologies across complex enterprise environments. This role leads AI security architecture, governance, and secure solution design initiatives spanning Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, RAG solutions, and intelligent automation technologies. The position partners closely with enterprise architecture, cloud, application development, legal, compliance, and risk teams to embed security and responsible AI principles throughout the AI solution lifecycle. This is a senior-level opportunity for candidates with deep security architecture expertise and enterprise AI exposure.

Permanent, Toronto, 3 days a week onsite DT Toronto

Must Haves

• 10+ years in Security Architecture, enterprise security, cloud security, application security, or enterprise architecture supporting AI or advanced analytics initiatives
• Enterprise experience with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, and RAG solutions
• Experience identifying and mitigating AI security risks including prompt injection, model poisoning, adversarial attacks, data leakage, and AI supply chain security
• Expertise designing secure enterprise architectures across Cloud Security, application, identity, data, and infrastructure security domains
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry credentials

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI platforms and frontier models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar technologies
• AI security certifications or security-related certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CIPP, SABSA, TOGAF, or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert
• Familiarity with AI governance, security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory considerations
• Exposure to emerging AI technologies and enterprise AI adoption programs
