RBC in Toronto is seeking a creative, results-driven AI professional to join Global Payments Technology. You will build and train AI agents powered by LLMs to deliver value across the payments domain and collaborate with partners across Risk, Finance, HR, and more.

The role focuses on developing AI models, data preprocessing, and deployment in production, with opportunities to explore new techniques and contribute to innovative solutions in a fast-paced, inclusive team.

Global Payments Technology is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division, collaborating with partners across the company to deliver innovative IT solutions. This role is part of the Global Payments Technology team, focusing on building AI agents powered by AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver value within the Global Payments domain.

What will you do?

• Develop and train AI models, including LLMs, to create intelligent agents for various use cases.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement AI solutions for anomaly detection and payments process automation.
• Preprocess and analyze data to ensure model accuracy and performance.
• Deploy and monitor AI models in production environments.
• Contribute to research and development of new AI techniques and technologies.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including natural language processing.
• Experience with data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain, Langraph, and others.

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, OpenShift).
• Experience with MLOps and model deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems and financial services.
