Job summary

Intact is seeking a Senior AI Full-Stack Software Developer (Python/React) to join our growing team in Canada. You will design and evolve front-end and back-end components for our AI-driven platform, participate in event-oriented architecture, and mentor squad members to improve delivery.

Bring 5+ years of development experience with TypeScript, React, Python, AWS, and REST/Swagger, plus knowledge of GenAI, RAG and MLOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of significant development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, AWS, REST / Swagger.
• Good knowledge of Python and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of AI concepts, GenAI, RAG and MLOps best practices.
• Experience with automated UI testing.
• Bilingualism in Quebec considered for English-speaking collaboration.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and application design around an event-oriented architecture.
• Assist testers in setting up component and integration tests.
• Develop and evolve front-end and back-end components for algorithm execution.
• Define development standards for system efficiency, resilience and sustainability.
• Optimize the platform for velocity and scalability.
• Prioritize development tasks in collaboration with the team.
• Ensure high quality of work delivered.
• Strengthen development team productivity.
• Lead tactics to achieve objectives.
• Support and proactively address issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to squad members.
