Job summary
Bombardier in Canada is seeking a Professional Senior Engineer in Engineering, Structures and Systems Installation to lead multi-zone design activities and integration efforts for aircraft structures and systems. You will coordinate with stress, materials, manufacturing, and operations, review design concepts, produce installation drawings, and mentor engineers while ensuring compliance and traceability.
Fluency in French and English is required; a bachelor's in aerospace/mechanical engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
- Typically 10–15 years of aerospace engineering experience.
- Experience in aircraft structural design and systems installation.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and aerospace materials.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review structural concepts, 3D models, installation layouts, and detail drawings.
- Define parts, joints, tolerances, interfaces, and installation provisions for equipment and ducts.
- Establish integrated solutions balancing load paths, safety, producibility, weight, and constraints.
- Coordinate across stress, materials, systems, manufacturing, and operations.
- Lead design reviews and mentor engineers.
