AGA Benefit Solutions is seeking a seasoned actuarial/insurance professional to support senior advisers on major group accounts in Montreal. You will analyze tenders, prepare final reports for clients, and collaborate with analysts to implement key accounts with accuracy and efficiency.

The role demands a university degree in actuarial science or related field, at least 5 years of group insurance experience, and fluent bilingual communication in English and French.

Qualifications

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in group insurance.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Bilingual English and French, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager, Account Managers and Advisors with technical expertise on major group accounts.
• Prepare specifications and appendices for calls for tenders, forward them and track deadlines with insurers.
• Analyze bids received, project results and prepare final reports for customers.
• Collaborate with analysts on implementing major accounts.
• Analyze and validate renewal proposals, negotiate with insurers and prepare reports.
• Assess client coverage and financial conditions; advise on plan design and modifications.
• Prepare self-insured plan balance statements and projections.
• Develop tools and reports to improve service quality; accompany staff to client sites as needed.
