Job Title: Senior Accounting Specialist

Job Location: Montreal, QC

Job Schedule: Day Shift

Essential Functions
  • Participate in accounting month-end close process for both Montreal entity and international entities (journal entries, account reconciliations & variance analysis);
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly/quarterly reports for management and corporate;
  • Track, control and analyze cost performance for programs;
  • Update and communicate performance data to division management team;
  • Review schedules/invoices and analyze program cash flow forecasts;
  • Provide financial analysis for audits and other financial activities;
  • Any other related duties.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting/Finance;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting/finance role;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Experience with ERP software Infor LN and/or ERP implementation is an asset;
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Experience in mutli-currency accounting environments;
  • Highly developed analytical mind;
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities;
  • Attention to detail with strong accounting and finance skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Focused on teamwork and collaboration;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both orally and in writing.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be eligible for registration with theControlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
