Qualifications

  • Has 3–5 years of accounting experience, especially with capital assets and job costing.
  • Demonstrates PSAS knowledge and strong budgeting/financial reporting skills.
  • Shows integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management to ensure efficient operation in the Finance Department.
  • Perform accounting tasks with PSAS compliance and government policy awareness.
  • Prepare working papers and liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Support financial planning, monthly budget review, and job costing.
  • Provide financial oversight during Emergency Operations Centre activities.
  • Develop internal controls and assist with financial planning functions.
