ROGA Contracting Ltd is seeking a CPA to join our team as Senior Accountant. This is a key finance role supporting a diverse group of indigenous businesses with operations in forestry, heavy construction and major infrastructure work.

The Senior Accountant will own recurring reporting, support the month-end close and help provide actionable information to project managers and leadership. The role offers meaningful exposure to project-based operations and a clear opportunity to grow into broader

Qualifications

• Must hold a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant designation in good standing.
• Approximately three or more years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and account analysis.
• Experience with project, cost or job accounting is preferred; construction, forestry, utilities or heavy-equipment experience is an asset.
• Strong Excel and accounting-system skills, with careful attention to accuracy and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, working papers and monthly financial reporting.
• Support project accounting, job-cost reviews, work-in-progress reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, cash-flow reporting and management analysis.
• Review financial and operational data for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies.
• Support invoicing, receivables, intercompany accounting and equipment reporting as required.
• Help prepare audit schedules and respond to year-end requests.
• Develop practical reports and process improvements for the finance and operations teams.
• Provide guidance to junior accounting and administrative staff when required.
