Senior Accountant, Assurance responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and execution of financial statement audits and reviews
• Providing solutions to our clients on current business and financial conditions
• Planning fieldwork assignments including budget and resource needs
• Working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service
• Working with clients in target industry sectors under varying reporting frameworks
• Supervising and mentoring motivated professionals
• Building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice

Qualifications

• CPA designation or designation near completion
• 2+ years of public practice audit experience

• Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills

Compensation

At Doane Grant Thornton, compensation practices are fair, equitable and competitive. The current base salary for this role ranges from $65,000-$89,000 in Vancouver. If this role is available in other locations, the salary range may vary based on factors including geography.
