Job summary

BDO Canada in Calgary is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance team, owning audit engagements and year-end activities for clients across industries. You will work independently or with a team, building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Handle audit tasks independently or with a team.

• Perform audits, prepare working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards.
• Build positive relationships with clients and respond to requests and questions.
• Communicate progress and issues with the team; mentor junior staff.
