Description

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the company’s financial and accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all processes. Working closely with management teams, this role provides valuable financial insight and guidance that contributes to informed decision-making and overall organizational success.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support the company’s financial and accounting systems, staff, and daily operational workflows.

Complete monthly reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable, commissions, intercompany accounts, and payroll accounts.

Meet all monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines related to budgets, forecasts, reporting, and financial analysis.

Contribute to monthly reporting packages and collaborate on year-end financial statements.

Work with the Payroll Manager to execute payroll and ensure full compliance with standards and best practices.

Support department managers in reviewing business performance and building action plans to enhance profitability.

Conduct financial analysis on company operations and present findings to the executive team.

Ensure all financial and accounting practices align with internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

What You Must Have
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with payroll processing and payroll software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership
  • High analytical capability with a detail-oriented, resourceful, and self-driven approach
