Requirements

Education & Experience

• CPA designation.
• 5+ years of relevant corporate accounting experience, ideally within a large or multi-location company, in both Canada and US.
• Experience in a nationwide distribution or construction materials industry is a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of GAAP; experience with ASPE preferred.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with ERP systems and an interest in process optimization and automation.
• Familiarity with vendor contracts and rebate management.
• Strong working knowledge of tax compliance and reporting.
• Solid understanding of audit processes.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
