Nutra Holdings is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and report to the Controller. This role supports daily accounting operations across multiple entities with a strong emphasis on accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate has a CPA designation, 3+ years of accounting experience, and advanced Excel/ERP proficiency to ensure high-quality financial reporting in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in multi-entity, high-growth, or ecommerce environments is an asset.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts for accuracy.
• Reconcile sales tax accounts and prepare monthly filings.
• Complete monthly inventory reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Perform monthly bank and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close activities and on-schedule task completion.
• Prepare monthly sales reporting files for management review and analysis.
• Review monthly expenses for accuracy before management approval.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accounting procedures.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting duties.

About The Role

Nutra Holdings is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and report directly to the Controller.

In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while supporting the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a continuous improvement mindset. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a fast-paced, growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
• Prepare and reconcile various balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile sales tax accounts and prepare monthly sales tax filings for management review.
• Complete monthly inventory reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Perform monthly bank and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare monthly sales reporting files for management review and analysis.
• Review monthly expenses for accuracy and completeness prior to management approval.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting procedures.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned.
