Canada Life is seeking an Account Executive to join its National Accounts team, reporting to the Regional Vice-President of Workplace Retirement and Savings. The role focuses on driving growth, retention, and business development with large Group Retirement Services clients and leading consulting firms.

You will build relationships with consultants, plan sponsors, and internal partners to position Canada Life's retirement solutions as the partner of choice and lead end-to-end sales activities

Formación

• 5+ years of experience within the Group Retirement Savings industry in business development, sales, account management, or client relationship roles.
• Proven ability to build credibility and develop strong relationships with consultants, plan sponsors, and senior business leaders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience negotiating, influencing, and presenting to executive-level audiences.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to confidently communicate retirement, investment, and financial wellness concepts to consultants, pension committees, and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrated success collaborating across internal and external stakeholder groups to achieve shared business objectives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on execution and results.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to think strategically, adapt quickly, and identify creative solutions.
• Financial services industry experience and a strong understanding of the retirement and savings marketplace.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and the flexibility to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Build and cultivate strong, strategic relationships with national consulting firms, plan sponsors, and key industry stakeholders.
• Develop and execute business plans that drive sales growth, client retention, and increased contributions across existing and prospective client relationships.
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, including RFP strategy, proposal development, finalist presentations, and contract execution.
• Partner with consultants and plan sponsors to identify opportunities and position Canada Life's Group Retirement Services solutions as the partner of choice.
• Guide consultants, sponsors, implementation teams, and relationship management partners through the onboarding process, sharing best practices to ensure successful plan implementations.
• Collaborate closely with Client Relationship Executives, fellow Account Executives, sales leaders, and cross-functional teams to support growth objectives and deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Champion innovative products, services, and member engagement strategies that enhance outcomes for plan sponsors and plan members.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitive developments, and industry best practices to proactively identify opportunities and strengthen Canada Life's position in the marketplace.

• Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Toronto, London, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Vancouver or Winnipeg

The base salary for this position is between $91,380 - $141,380 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
