Senior Associate Account Executive – Vancouver

This is an in office role in our Vancouver office.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $150,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity.

What the day will look like

No two days are the same. As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll:

  • Lead and oversee the 120-day renewal process, from preparing renewal reports to policy delivery.
  • Deliver exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met with innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Vancouver and Canada to deliver “Aon United” service excellence.
  • Develop and execute account strategies, lead negotiations with underwriters, and coordinate account teams for optimal client outcomes.
  • Expand client relationships through cross-selling, prospecting, and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Represent Aon in the community, participate in industry events, and help shape the future of commercial risk solutions.
  • Mentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of learning and professional growth.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial risk or insurance, with a proven ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Level II insurance license required.
  • Strong leadership skills—able to guide teams of brokers, claims advocates, and risk consultants.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital tools.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
