Staffinity is currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a client located in Mississauga. This is a full‑time, permanent position with salary, benefits and the potential for upside. The base salary range is 90‑120k. We are ideally looking for candidates with experience refining the CI / CD and automation systems and supporting multi‑cloud, container‑based environments. Responsibilities
- Design and enhance CI / CD pipelines for multiple repositories using Jenkins or equivalent tools
- Build and operate Kubernetes clusters and Helm deployments across cloud environments
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code templates (Terraform or Ansible) for provisioning and configuration
- Create and maintain Python and Bash automation scripts to improve reliability and reduce manual tasks
- Implement GitOps workflows and environment management through ArgoCD
- Manage container image creation, registry security, and vulnerability scanning
- Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / Loki
- Automate database migrations and schema versioning (Liquibase, Flyway, etc.)
- Embed DevSecOps practices using tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, or Anchore
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to improve system performance, scalability, and delivery cadence
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in DevOps or related engineering roles
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (pods, ingress, RBAC, autoscaling, namespaces)
- Proven expertise with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab Runners, Bamboo, etc.)
- Strong scripting ability in Python and Bash
- Skilled with Helm chart management and multi‑environment deployment
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (EKS / GKE / AKS)
- Infrastructure automation via Terraform or Ansible
- Knowledge of container management (Dockerfiles, multi‑stage builds, image hardening)
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / Loki)
- Understanding of security compliance frameworks and secrets management tools (Vault, SealedSecrets, SOPS)
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) or Kustomize
- Knowledge of Groovy or shared‑library development in Jenkins
- Exposure to telecom or next‑generation networking (5G) domains
